Basketball At Duke: Top NBA Draft Prospect Makes JJ Redick Appear Small
Although Duke basketball legend JJ Redick has a unique perspective on the No. 1 prospect, the entire basketball community is enamored with Victor Wembanyama, a top NBA Draft prospect. 1st pick overall.
Wembanyama joined Redick on his podcast, The Old Man & The Three. Before their conversation ended, the two of them had to take a picture to show how tall the most anticipated player since LeBron James is.
The former Blue Devil was made to appear naive by Victor Wembanyama, who stood 7 feet 2 inches tall.
JJ Redick stands at 6’4″. He was taller than the average person and was never thought to be a short player in the NBA, but he couldn’t reach Wembanyama’s shoulders.
Redick explained on ESPN’s First Take on Wednesday morning that Boban Marjanovic, who is listed at 7-foot-4, is the tallest player with whom he has played in the NBA. However, Redick claimed that, in contrast to Wembanyama, he at least reached Marjanovic’s shoulders.
Victor Wembanyama, host of the Duke basketball podcast and only small stop on the prospect’s tour, has been experiencing all of New York City since arriving from France. On Tuesday, he not only joined JJ Redick’s podcast, but he also rode the subway for the first time and threw out the ceremonial first pitch before the New York Yankees game.
As the future San Antonio Spur ate a baseball with hands the size of his, the height gap between Wembanyama and Redick was not the most shocking thing to see.
